With aggregate throughput up to 300 Mbps, PTP 600 Series solutions deliver greater spectral efficiency than comparable systems. These bridges are particularly well-suited for applications and networks that require high throughput and T1/E1 capability because they build in extra features that deliver greater speed and mitigate radio-frequency (RF) interference. The T1/E1 ports mean that you can bundle circuit-switched connectivity with IP voice, video and data communications

Point-to-Point solutions for 2.5 GHz license holders
In 2004, the U.S. government established the Educational Broadband Service (EBS) to transmit instructional material utilizing low-power broadband systems and also provide high-speed Internet access. Operating in the 2.5 GHz licensed spectrum, Motorola’s PTP 25600 solutions are designed to support the stringent requirements of a wide variety of EBS applications, including:
Building-to-building and campus connectivity

· Backbone operations

· Internet access and email

· Distance learning

· Voice-over-IP and video surveillance

·
Point-to-Point Backhaul for U.S. Federal, Military and NATO agencies
With the PTP 48600 and the PTP 45600, Motorola now has two Point-to-Point licensed solutions designed to support U.S. government entities and NATO licensees with cost-effective, high-throughput connectivity. Operating in the 4.8 and 4.5 GHz spectrums and at up to 300 and 150 Mbps Ethernet data rates respectively, these bridges support applications such as:
Battlefield communications

· Public safety

· Video surveillance and border security

· Tactical military operations

· Training and simulation networks

· Building-to-building and campus connectivity

·
PTP 49600 for Public Safety
Operating in the 4.9 GHz public safety spectrum, PTP 49600 bridges deliver up to 125 Mbps throughput and support numerous critical applications to include:
Real-time access to missing-person images, DMV records, video feeds, medical data, building blueprints, vehicle locations, evacuation routes and road closures, building floor plans, fire hydrant locations and much more

· High-speed backhaul from video surveillance cameras, Mesh nodes, 4.9 GHz hot spots and command centers

· Cost-effective ASTRO® backhaul links

· Quickly deployed links for disaster recovery, emergency services and special events

· Broadband overlay and last-mile access

Operating in the 6 to 38 GHz RF bands* at up to 368 Mbps throughput (full duplex) and with user-configured channel bandwidths from 7 to 56 MHz, the Motorola Point-to-Point 800 Series of Licensed Ethernet Microwave solutions offer operators a highly reliable licensed band solution. With upgradeable capacity from 10 Mbps to full capacity via a software key, the systems offer exceptional cost efficiency and scalability. In addition, we offer comprehensive FCC licensing coordination services through our partnership with Comsearch.

Key features include:

Effective system design

With the smallest Compact Modem Unit (CMU) in the industry, the small form factor design helps remove customer dependency on rack space.

Capacity as you grow throughput

Flexible stepping options allow operators to purchase a standard 10 Mbps factory set cap and then increase capacity as needed based on throughput demands ensuring exceptional scalability.

Asymmetric control

Where users download more information than they upload, operators can assign different throughput capacities for the up and down links.

QPSK to 256 QAM

Security Options

FIPS-197 128/256-bit AES encryption

Low Latency

< 115us @ full capacity with 64 bytes

Flexible network management

Remote management via web browser. Optional Motorola’s One Point Wireless Manager or other third party tools are available for management purposes.

"Zero-Downtime" Adaptive Modulation

Automatic shifting of modulation and/or coding rate as radio path conditions change enable transmitters and receivers to negotiate highest mutually sustainable data rate.

* The 6 to 38 GHz frequencies will be available in a series of product releases. Local regulatory requirements should be confirmed prior to system purchase.
